Query Tracker recently posted a list of Most Accepting Agents based on the number of agent read requests reported by QueryTracker users. While there were 10 listed, not all of them accepted middle grade submissions. The good news is that there were four who did!

I am now actively looking to build my own list, which includes (after a surprisingly minimal amount of begging and pleading on my part), securing Lauren’s agreement to open the agency to considering middle grade and young adult fiction.
Claire Geruz, Claire Gerus Literary Agency:
Claire is always interested in projects that can change readers’ lives for the better. She is open to assisting authors as an agent, a book developer, or an editor. She is now focusing on nonfiction projects for all ages.

Do your homework before submitting to these folks to get their specific submission guidelines, types of authors they represent, and to see if you’re a good fit. The Middle Grade Mafia wishes you the best of luck!
