Writing contest can be scary, stressful yet exciting. They are a great way to set deadlines forcing you to polish your manuscript. You can also meet other writers, add Twitter followers and make new Facebook friends. Best of all, even if you don’t win, often times you will get some valuable feedback.

So, get those queries ready for the 2015 Query Kombat hosted by Michelle Hauck and Michael Anthony. The contest is open to all unagented writers seeking representation. The submissions will be seen by “secret agents.” Hint: you can check some of them out on Michael Anthony’s blog.

The submission window will open on May 22nd at 5:30 EST and close at 6:30 EST. You have one hour and one hour only to send in your submission! The submission is for one query, plus the first 250 words.

You can get all the details at 2015 Query Kombat.
